Energetic and passionate executive with a PhD degree in medical sciences, an executive MBA degree and more than 22 years of experience in the Specialized Nutrition industry, including nutritional supplements, functional food, infant milk and medical nutrition.

Has experience in designing science-based nutritional products, testing safety and efficacy in clinical trials, intellectual property management and leading a regulatory compliant commercial strategy. Specifically, for the medical nutrition area an in-depth experience in working with governments and health care providers globally implementing and ensuring access to the right nutritional regimens for patients. Can rely on an extensive global network of key opinion leaders; scientists, medical specialists and regulators.

As member of the executive team, co-responsible for more than double the sales of Danone’s medical nutrition business in 9 years, from less than 1 B€ to 2 B€ sales per year, while increasing the margin by 6% to >25% in 2019. Involved in shaping the new regulation on medical food both at EU level and in China. In the previous role as head of Research, responsible for a new portfolio of products that became game changers in the medical nutrition market (plant-based tube feed, compact ready to drink supplements, medical food for Alzheimer).
